With over three years of experience as a football writer, he transitioned into editorial responsibilities as an Editor and Desk Manager at Khel Now, focusing on football. Currently, he works as a Sports Content Editor at Sportsdunia. His expertise also includes managing social media accounts and creating engaging visual content, demonstrating his skills in graphic design and digital communication. Samannay has worked with top sports organizations such as the AIFF and BCCI, contributing to major events like the IPL and SAFF Cup. In the 2024–25 season, he covered Indian Super League (ISL) matches as a reporter, focusing on iconic clubs like Mohun Bagan and East Bengal. He also reported on the Durand Cup 2024, where he had the opportunity to interview Indian football legend Sunil Chhetri. Beyond journalism, Samannay is passionate about grassroots development in football and aspires to contribute to its growth in India. He is an avid football enthusiast, both as a player and a fan, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane as his football idols.
